Find inspiration, connect with peers, and get tips from experts at our monthly workshops for young writers. Open to all aspiring writers ages 11-18.

NOTE: Our guest speaker this month is celebrated Oregon author Deborah Hopkinson! Hopkinson is the author of more than 50 books for young readers including picture books, middle grade fiction, and nonfiction. Hopkinson’s work has received multiple awards, including several Oregon Book Awards. She lives near Portland, OR with her family and a menagerie of pets.

Hopkinson will be meeting with the Young Writers Group via Skype for a presentation and Q&A regarding the writing process. This presentation is open to all students ages 11-18.
