Library Card Sign-Up Month: Community Art Event

Celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month and express what the library means to you through art at the Coos Bay Public Library!   From 3:00 until 6:00pm September 19 to 23 the library will host an informal, drop-in painting program in the lobby of the library.  Participants are invited to paint an 8 x 8 tile with a message or picture of what the library means to them.  Completed tiles may then be put on display at the library.  All ages are welcome to participate.  Tiles will remain the property of the Coos Bay Public Library and may be used in future projects and display. Paints and firing are being generously provided by the Pottery Company.  Limited supplies available.
