Patricia Whereat Phillips (Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians) will tell traditional Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw stories.  Whereat Phillips is the Tribal Linguist for CTCLUSI and teaches Native languages (hanis, miluk and sha’yuushtɬ’a uɬ quuiich). A graduate of the University of Oregon's Linguistic Program (MA, 1996), she is also the author of Ethnobotany of the Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians (Oregon State University Press, 2016).
