Event Details
With some time, this party started to piece together their memories, the fog slowly lifting. But as they start to uncover their memories, the threads that hold what they know start to unravel. Each possible answer opens more questions, and the mysteries of this town start to become more dangerous.
The journey in one’s mind to uncover memories lost is a dangerous one, one that the party might regret taking on.
As each of the party members wake up in their personal rooms at the Inn, they start to investigate what they’ve been up to amidst the fog they’ve lived in for the past few weeks.
Scribbled notes with cryptic messages, mysterious tomes, and bags of gold are the things that stood out. While they were investigating, they heard a commotion downstairs. Bren a tired burley traveler trying to stir up a fight to get information on their missing family. The Innkeeper asks the party to uphold their end of the contract and to take Bren out. After a short conversation and calming down the rage in Bren, he joins the party and the party promises to help find his family. The party then splits up to cover more ground to solve their gap weeks.
One group goes to the library to return most of the mysterious tomes that were in their room, in doing so they get flagged by the Archmage due to the nature of the tomes.
Another group goes to the jail to find some information about the Bandits that are attacking farmers, with the only information being that one of them has a tiger tattoo. The group is turned away due to not having the proper paperwork for the information requested.
The other group goes to the bank, in hopes of returning the money owed to the guild so they can get out of their contracts. After a lengthy bank conversation, they learn that Onyx was taken out of a shared account with Ms. Moonfist. As they deposit the money and it’s being checked for hexes, the storage box glows red and the bank teller tells them that it’s best if they leave.
The party rejoins and shares the information that they’ve found. This triggers some memories for some of the party members. They decide to split up once more, one group to the Mayor and the other to the Guild House. The mayor provides a pin that will give them access to travel freely and request information from the guards. In the Guild House they learn about other guild contracts they’ve made.
As the regroup again, they are informed that all of their belongings are being moved to the Holiday Inn as they aren’t welcome at this Inn anymore due to damages. The Party splits one last time before agreeing to meet at the Holiday Inn.
The group that heads to the jail investigates the bandit attacks more, and finds one bandit that was taken in. Bren gets no information on their family and where they might be, but they learn of the bandit's leaders long term plan that made this bandit leave. They learn that the leaders face has never been seen, but that their name is Ramon Salvisar.
The other group makes their way to the bank and find a crime scene, as they are allowed their way in Elliahs Fencith the Third sets off a trap and perishes in flames. Only one bank teller survived this attack, and they are currently with the Mayor getting help.
A rough half of the day later and the party makes their way to the Holiday Inn, just across from the Stoneforge Smith, they decide to visit the Smith.
As they look around the cobweb filled shop and find a small gnomish family (Salvador, Sally, Salee, and Solstice) living in the run-down building. They offer Onyx to keep the smith working and functioning for room and board, they will pay them whatever they make in the shop. They also let Onyx know what they overheard while hiding, that He and Moonfist had been here a few nights ago. Onyx was in tears and Moonfist was consoling them, telling them not to worry that she wouldn't eat anything" and that he shouldn't worry.
The day gets close to an end as Salvador and their family start to make the group dinner as the group gets their weapons ready to go clear ghosts from the harbor bay once more
