DESCRIPTION:Imagine a circle of brothers where you’re invited share your
  truth, clarify your vision for the life you want, gain the tools you need
  for action, find your strength, and hold yourself accountable. \r\nThis 
 is how our weekly Open Men's Group will function: \r\nMission: To p
 rovide a space for men to feel safe around other men.\r\nIntentions:\r\n	W
 e are committed that more men find a safe circle to sit in where they can 
 speak and be heard.\r\n	That this is a safe space for men to connect with 
 themselves and each other.\r\n	That as a result, men become more aware of 
 their thoughts and feelings.\r\n	To facilitate this, we commit to the foll
 owing guidelines:\r\nGuidelines:\r\n	What I say here is confidential (exce
 pt in cases of abuse or neglect).\r\n	There may be mandatory reporters in 
 this group (ask for those who are to identify themselves). A mandatory rep
 orter is required by law to report alleged abuse of:\r\n	\r\n		Children\r\
 n		Adults age 65 and over\r\n		Adults with developmental disabilities\r\n	
 	Adults with mental illness, and\r\n		Residents in nursing facilities\r\n	
 \r\n	\r\n	Outside this group, I will not share another man’s words, acti
 ons, or identity. I will only speak of my own experience and personal insi
 ghts.\r\n	I will speak openly and truthfully in “I” statements (not �
 �you” or “he” statements).\r\n	Any man may pass at any time.\r\n	Any
  man may STOP a process (especially in the service of maintaining safety).
 \r\n	I am not here to give advice. If I want advice, I will ask for it spe
 cifically.\r\n	I will ask permission before offering feedback.\r\n	I am re
 sponsible for taking care of myself. If I need something, I will ask for i
 t. If I have questions, I will ask them.\r\n	If I identify with what anoth
 er man is saying, I may raise my hand rather than cross commenting. Any ma
 n may pass.\r\n	This group is not a substitute for therapy and is not a pr
 ocess group.\r\nThis group is facilitated by volunteers from the ManKind P
 roject (MKP) with hosting, support, and refreshments provided by Coos Bay
