Coos Bay Library has teamed up with Coos Head Food Co-op's Outreach Coordinator, Jamar, to  provide safe, easy, and healthy recipes to create at home. Join us virtually on Zoom for this fun community event!

Co-op Spring Galettes ingredients:

Note: We are making two different galettes however if you would like to make just one, we can modify the recipe. Also, start with our bulk department, it is where you get the most bang for buck when shopping.

Ingredients:

2 Cups of Unbleached Flour, if you are gluten intolerant, we also have a 1to1 Gluten Free Flour Option
1 Red Onion
1 Box of Cherry Tomatoes
10 Tablespoons of Unsalted Butter, Plant Based Butter is also an option
2 Tablespoons of Rice Vinegar
Garlic (4 -5 cloves)
1 Leek
1 – 2 Cups of Bulk Spring Mix Salad
3 – 4 Tablespoons of Cold Water
4 oz container of Pasta Plus Pesto
½ teaspoon of Dried Parsley
Black Pepper
Salt
Olive Oil

You will need:

1 Frying Pans
Cookie Sheet with Parchment Paper
1 Big Bowl (Galette Dough)
1 Medium Bowl (Spring Salad)
1 Pair of Tongs (If you have them if not two spoons will work fine)
1 Spatula
1 Pairing Knife
