Coos Bay Library has teamed up with Coos Head Food Co-op's Outreach Coordinator, Jamar, to provide safe, easy, and healthy recipes to create at home. Join us virtually on Zoom for this fun community event!

Coos Head Ramen Ingredients:
1 Pack of Koyo Organic Noodles – Fine Udon 8 oz.
8 Cups Veggie Stock (I will be using 2 Pacific Foods Organic Vegetable Broth 1 QT)
4 Tablespoons Vegetable Umami Yondu
2 Baby Bok Choy (we will be cutting them into 4 parts)
4 Cloves of Garlic
1 Cup of shredded Red Cabbage (you can request the produce department to cut a cabbage in half for you)
1 Cup rough chopped Ginger
1 Medium Yellow Onion
½ Cup of Green Onions (chopped at an angle)
½ Cup of Grated Carrots
1/3 Cup of Daikon Thinly Sliced
½ Cilantro (rough chop)
1 Jalapeno (optional)
¼ Teaspoon of Whole Clove
2 Star Anise
¼ Black Sesame Seeds
Sriracha Hot Sauce (optional)
You will need:
1 Pot for Stock
1 Pot for Noodles
1 Small Pot for Bok Choy
2 Big Spoons
